• Bringing Home the Gold, Silver and Bronze!
Congratulations to Colin Coughlan, Lizzy Lawson, and Kendal Grace - QMS students and members of the Saratoga Springs Figure Skating Club - for their outstanding performances at the Green Mountain Open Skating Competition the weekend of March 6th and 7th!  Colin won four gold medals and one silver.  Lizzie won one gold, two silvers, and a bronze.  Kendall won two silvers and a bronze. Great job!

• QMS Students win Odyssey of the Mind Competition
Congratulations to the Middle School Odyssey Team (Amanda Guido, Amanda Teppo, Lydia Hanchett, Ericka Wadleigh and Mara Bureau) for winning first place in their division at Regional competition. They will be going to the state competition at Binghamton University Saturday, March 27th.

• Petitions for BOE Seats Available
There are two Board of Education seats up for election this year. Petitions for anyone interested in running for election are available in the District Clerk's office. The filing deadline is April 19, 2010. Please contact Mrs. VanHatten at 824-5604 for more information.

• QMS Teacher Chosen For Summer School Study Opportunity
Congratulations to Mary McHale, QMS ELA Teacher, one of twenty-five teacher from across the USA chosen to participate in "Teaching Shakespeare Through Performance," A Course for Teachers in London, England this summer.
