Universal Prekindergarten (UPK)
Queensbury Union Free School District will offer five sections of full-day Universal Prekindergarten for the 2025-26 school year. The prekindergarten classes, supported in part by federal UPK funding, will be staffed by certified teachers. There will be 90 seats available through a random lottery.
To be eligible, children must be residents of Queensbury and must turn 4 years old on or before Dec. 1, 2025 (date of birth between 12/2/2020-12/1/2021). A child who is age eligible to attend kindergarten is not eligible for the UPK program.
