The cast of Annie.

The Queensbury High School Musical performed three sold out shows of “Annie” on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 15-17. That’s about 750 people at each show.

Delaney Sano starred as Annie in the musical based on the popular comic strip “Little Orphan Annie,” by Harold Gray. “Annie” was a worldwide phenomenon in 1977 and the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Quinn Sheloski played Oliver Warbucks, Avery Magee played Miss Hannigan, and Adam Spero played villain Rooster Hannigan. Finley Magee played the role of Warbucks’ secretary Grace Farrell, Jordyn Lott played Lily St. Regis, and Carter Stanclift played several roles, including FDR, Bert Healy and Mr. Bundles.

The orphans included QHS seniors Holly Pizzigati and Emma Maynard as well as QMS seventh graders Nevaeh Guzman and Mckenzie Cole and sixth grader Brooke Meilhede. The sets were once again constructed by Sean and Amanda Magee (Avery and Finley’s parents), and the show also featured the Magees' dog, Clover, as Sandy.
