Queensbury senior Kristin McDermott received this year’s Community Service Award from the Adirondack Area School Boards Association.
Kristin was one of 31 exceptional students — one from each member school district — to receive the recognition at a dinner on Thursday, May 16 at The Queensbury Hotel. Music was provided by the Queensbury High School band. Fourteen area businesses donated to the association, allowing the AASBA to continue with this long-standing, important event.
