Queensbury Elementary School third grade teacher Gabriella Ientile was named a TCT Teacher of the Week on Feb. 17.
Teacher of the Week is a weekly awards program sponsored by TCT Federal Credit Union and Adirondack Broadcasting that honors local school employees making a positive impact on their students and school communities. Each week during the school year one recipient is selected and announced on air.
“Miss Ientile loves to do crafts with her class, and they do something special for almost every holiday,” according to the TCT announcement. “Recently her class made a Lunar New Year dragon. Miss Ientile is also very patient with her students and brings out the best in all of them. Every Friday, her students earn smile-tickets and a chance to win a prize. Thanks again to Miss Gabriella Ientile for all she does at the Queensbury Elementary School!”
