It is time to register for kindergarten at Queensbury Elementary School. Children must be residents of Queensbury and 5 years old on or before Dec. 1, 2025 to register for kindergarten. Please register by March 31, 2025.


Queensbury Union Free School District will offer full-day Universal Prekindergarten for the 2025-26 school year. There will be 90 seats available through a random lottery. The lottery opens Jan. 13.
To be eligible, children must be residents of Queensbury and must turn 4 years old on or before Dec. 1, 2025 (date of birth between 12/2/2020-12/1/2021). A child who is age eligible to attend kindergarten is not eligible for the UPK program.

We have been notified by National Grid that they will need to do work in front of Queensbury Middle School all day today. There will be no power in the middle school from approximately 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. Therefore, students in grades 6-8 will not be attending school today.
