Queensbury Union Free School District was notified at the start of the school day Monday by the New York State Police in collaboration with the FBI that there was an arrest made of a teenager for threatening through Snapchat to shoot up Queensbury High School. The arrest was made late Sunday night.
The State Police in collaboration with the FBI worked on this until late Sunday night. Police have assured the district there is no reason to be concerned for the safety of the students.
We appreciate our partnership with the State Police, FBI and the Warren County Sheriff’s Department. The safety of our students is imperative. As always, if you see something, say something.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your building administrator.
