Queensbury seniors Bayley Duffy and Tanner Fearman have been named New York High School Players of the Year in the May-June 2024 edition of New York Hockey Journal.
Bayley Duffy, a senior forward, led the Adirondack United girls hockey team in its second year to a perfect 18-0 season and the program’s first NYSPHSAA championship. According to the New York Hockey Journal, Duffy was the state’s leading scorer the past two years. She recorded 32 goals and 31 assists for 63 points as a senior and finished her two-year high school career with 66 goals and 63 assists for 129 points.
Tanner Fearman, a senior forward for the Spartans hockey team, was the Hockey Coaches Association of New York Division II Player of the Year. He tallied 26 goals and 49 assists for 75 points and helped the Queensbury-Lake George team reach the Division II finals, according to the New York Hockey Journal. In 65 games over three years, Fearman amassed 53 goals and 98 assists for 151 points, the journal reported.
