Queensbury Middle School art teacher Amy VanVranken has been named the Teacher of the Week by TCT Federal Credit Union and Adirondack Broadcasting.
TCT and Adirondack Broadcasting honor local school employees who make a positive impact on their students and school communities. Each week during the school year, one recipient is selected and announced on air.
VanVranken was nominated for being a kind and loving teacher who goes out of her way to help her students with their art projects.
“Mrs. VanVranken loves to make a special connection with her students and works with them directly to ensure they get their work done,” according to the TCT website. “Thanks to Amy VanVranken for all she does at the Queensbury Middle School.”
