Queensbury Union Free School District’s new website is now live at www.queensburyschool.org.
The new, fresh site, maintained by Apptegy, is designed for better viewing on smartphones.
Everyone should download the new app, which will feature all of the important information parents and students need daily — lunch menus, SchoolTool, upcoming events — as well as a live feed that will push important news and reminders directly to your phone.
Users will be able to customize the new app to show building-specific information and updates.
It’s everything QUFSD — right in your pocket!
“Most of our website visits are now done on people’s smartphones,” said Superintendent of Schools Kyle Gannon. “We are excited to make our website more accessible to everyone, whether you are sitting at home on your desktop computer or looking it up on your cellphone. We hope you enjoy this site and find it to be a useful tool for getting the information that you need.”
This new website was developed to help communication between Queensbury school and the parents and community, said Ben Grieco, the director of instructional technology.
“The apps allows parents to easily find day-to-day information such as school menus, events and language translation tools for non-English speaking families,” Grieco said. “We are really excited to launch the new Queensbury website.”
The website will still be located at www.queensburyschool.org. Download the new Queensbury UFSD app from the iOS App Store or Android Play Store and enable notifications. You can also scan the attached QR code.
